What's in Narad

Six things, one home.

Each feature is built around your sampradaya, your region, your language, and your level of observance — not a one-size-fits-all dilution.

Panchang

The day's tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, sunrise, sunset, and rahu kaal — accurate to your city and your sampradaya. Subtle, never overwhelming.

Self-Puja

Step-by-step guides for daily, occasional, and seasonal pujas — with mantras, the order, and the sankalpa pre-written in your language. Practice with confidence even if you're new to the ritual.

Pandit Booking

Verified pandits filtered by your sampradaya, available online, at your home, or at a mandir. Transparent pricing, real reviews, and a fair refund policy.

Live Darshan

Tune in to live darshan from major temples — Vaishno Devi, Tirupati, Vishwanath, and more. A quiet moment from anywhere.

Narad AI

Ask anything — a doubt about ritual, a question about a verse, the meaning of a dream. A respectful guide trained on dharmik tradition.

Astrology

Your kundli, dasha periods, and daily / monthly / yearly insights — calculated traditionally (Lahiri ayanamsa, sidereal), not by horoscope-of-the-day.

How it works

Three short steps.

  1. 1

    Personalize

Tell Narad your sampradaya, your region, your language, your observance level. Five questions, takes a minute. Nothing is shared.

  2. 2

    Discover

Open the home screen and see what matters today — the panchang, the festival around the corner, the puja for the season, your daily rashifal.

  3. 3

    Practice or Book

Do a guided self-puja, ask Narad a question, or book a pandit for online, at-home, or mandir service — all in your tradition, in your language.

Our mission

Your tradition, your day — in one warm place.

Most spiritual apps treat tradition as one undifferentiated thing — the same panchang for everyone, the same horoscope for every sect, the same pandit recommendations whether you follow Smartha, Vaishnava, Shaiva, or your own family parampara. Dharma doesn't actually work that way.

Narad is built around what we believe matters most: your sampradaya, your region, your language, and your level of observance. Every screen — the panchang for today, the puja for the season, the pandit who'd be a good fit for your home ceremony, the predictions on your kundli — is calibrated to those four. Not generic. Not exoticized. Not generated.

Narad is not a replacement for your guru. It is not a substitute for your family pandit or your tradition's authority. It is a calm, respectful, ad-free space for the daily, weekly, and seasonal moments that benefit from being easier to find.

Frequently asked

Questions you might have.

Is Narad free?

The app is free to install and most features — panchang, content, the AI guide, and self-puja guides — are free to use. Pandit bookings and online pujas are paid services priced per pandit; pricing is shown clearly before you book.

Which languages do you support?

The app is available in eleven languages — English, हिन्दी (Hindi), বাংলা (Bengali), తెలుగు (Telugu), मराठी (Marathi), தமிழ் (Tamil), ગુજરાતી (Gujarati), ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada), മലയാളം (Malayalam), ଓଡ଼ିଆ (Odia), and ਪੰਜਾਬੀ (Punjabi). Online pandit booking is available across India. In-person pandit services are rolling out city by city — coming soon to your city. Write to support@asknarad.com to be notified when we arrive.

How do you verify pandits?

Every pandit goes through identity verification, sampradaya validation (gurukul / school / parampara reference), and a short interview before they can take user bookings. Pandits hold a verified badge in the app. Reviews are from real completed bookings only.

Is online puja real puja?

Online puja is real puja performed by a real pandit at a sankalpa-bound venue while you join via video. The pandit performs the ritual on your behalf, taking your name, gotra, and intent into the sankalpa. We are transparent about the difference between proxy puja, home puja, and mandir puja — the app explains what each one means before you book.

Is my spiritual data safe?

Religious belief is sensitive personal data. We encrypt all data in transit, store sect / observance level only with your explicit consent during onboarding, and never sell user data. We do not run third-party advertising. You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time.

Is this a guru? Does Narad give religious authority?

No. Narad is a companion app — it consolidates traditional sources, helps you find verified pandits, and offers a respectful AI assistant for information lookup. It is not a substitute for your guru, your family pandit, or your tradition's authority. Spiritual outcomes are never guaranteed.

How do I become an internal tester right now?

Email support@asknarad.com with your Google account email and which Android phone you use. We'll add you to the internal testing list. iOS access opens after TestFlight is set up.
